About Us
We started Rocky and Friends because we simply couldn't find flexible, friendly and personalised services for our pup! Previously our pup attended a doggy daycare but struggled with the noisy environment and often came home not feeling himself. We searched high and low for a flexible service that would allow him to stay in the comfort of his own home, but not be alone for too long whilst we were at work. Unable to find something suitable - we started Rocky and Friends, so that your (furry) loved ones are looked after when you can't be there.
At Rocky and Friends we recognise that dog lovers don't just work 9-5 (as Dolly would make us believe!) so we offer services suitable for shift workers too - operating services in the evening and at weekends on request.
Jack is fully insured and canine first aid trained - to ensure that all of our friends are well looked after. After sign up, Jack will create a personalised pet plan so that you can be assured your furry friends will get the service they deserve.
We offer our walking, home visit and pet taxi services acrossTottington, Walshaw, Elton, Ainsworth, Greenmount and the surrounding areas! We also offer special occasion chaperoning for your pets at both local and non-local events, contact us for more information!

Our team
Our team are committed to providing the best possible personalised care to your furry friends. We're animal lovers with plenty of experience of looking after a variety of breeds (including Dalmatians, Labradors, Old English Sheepdogs and Jack Russells!). You can trust us to look after your beloved furry friends as if they're one of our own... cuddles included!
Rocky
Our founder and inspiration
Rocky, a very handsome cross-Labrador, sadly no longer with us, inspired our mission to provide personalised pet care built around the needs of your dog. Rocky was the very best family member for 13 years and we all miss him dearly.
His memory lives on, with his little brother Rex and our personalised pet services!
Jack
The main man
Jack, a human, previously worked for the NHS as an Operating Department Practitioner in (human) operating theatres (sometimes still doing the odd shift). After looking for personalised pet services, he found that no other local services could meet the needs of his dog - leading him to create Rocky & Friends alongside Sam!
Jack is a natural with dogs, preferring them to humans!
Sue
The supporting act
Sue (ANOTHER human) is Jack's mum, helping out over busy periods and ensuring some of our most important pups are looked after when Jack is away.
In her spare time, Sue enjoys an afternoon tea, a gin or two and spending time with her family!
